FORMER Ipswich striker Darren Bent gave Norwich Glenn Roeder plenty to think about after soccer four goals in Spurs 5-1 rout of the Canaries at Carrow Road.
Five of Roeder's summer recruits were on show in front of last night's 25,243 crowd - but it was Bent who caught the eye.
Norwich matched Spurs during the first half. But they were given the runaround in the second period by the men in light blue, particularly Bent. Canaries defender Dejan Stefanovic scored an own goal, while Jamie Cureton got Norwich's solitary score.
Roeder said: “It's hugely disappointing to lose a game 5-1 in front of your own supporters, who were terrific all night.
“Sometimes you have to put your hands in the air and say how much better the opposition were. And they were.
