RELEGATION-threatened Bristol City could be without a host of first team regulars for the visit to Ipswich Town on Saturday.

The Robins, currently 21st in the Championship, are definitely without three players, are sweating on three more and also have a trio currently on international duty.

Marvin Elliott (Achilles) and David Clarkson (broken ankle) are out for the rest of the season while Cole Skuse will definitely miss the trip to Portman Road with a broken toe.

Manager Derek McInnes will also be closely monitoring injuries to Kalifa Cisse, Lewin Nyatanga and Stephen McManus – the latter someone Town boss Paul Jewell tried to sign before the January transfer window closed. The Scottish international instead joined City on loan from Middlesbrough.

Doubts also remain over international trio Ricky Foster, Ryan McGivern – who is in the Northern Ireland squad with Josh Carson – and Chris Wood who faces the long trip back from Auckland with Tommy Smith after the pair played in New Zealand’s 3-2 defeat to Jamaica.
