JIMMY Bullard was last night voted Ipswich Town’s Player-of-the-Year, even though he has only spent half a season at Portman Road.
Midfielder Bullard, who has been on loan from Hull City since the end of January, scooped the award at the Supporters’ Club Players’ Awards evening, staged at Greshams.
Defender Gareth McAuley was the runner-up, with teenage striker Connor Wickham in third.
McAuley did win the Away Supporters’ trophy, while Josh Carson won the Academy accolade.
