CARLOS Edwards has been named players’ player of the year at last night’s end-of-season dinner.
The right-back’s consistent season was recognised by his peers while Andy Drury, who spent three months on loan at League Two Crawley Town earlier this season, picked up the John Kerridge Memorial Trophy for the club’s most improved player.
Lee Martin won the Corporate Customers, Sponsors and Boxholders’ player of the season while the Town goal of the season was Jason Scotland’s rocket at Crystal Palace earlier this month.
Icelandic youngster Gunnar Thorsteinsson picked up the Harold Smith Trophy for the academy’s most improved player.
