VETERAN midfielder Lee Bowyer will not be offered a new deal by Ipswich Town.
Bowyer was out of contract this summer and Blues boss Paul Jewell has confirmed he will not be extending the 34 year old’s contract at Portman Road.
The midfielder, signed last year on a free from Birmingham City, has made 24 starts and a further five appearances from the bench.
He has scored twice this season, including the last-minute winner in the memorable 1-0 win over his old club West Ham in September.
