Ipswich Town striker Daryl Murphy has been named in the final squad for Republic of Ireland’s Euro 2016 qualifiers against Gibraltar and Germany.

Loan striker Conor Sammon has missed out on a place for the games against Gibraltar in Dublin on Saturday, and the away tie against the world champions ext Tuesday, having been in the provisional 37-man squad.

Leading scorer Murphy has hit six goals for Town this season, including a superb brace in Sunday’s 2-2 draw at Nottingham Forest.
