IPSWICH Town striker Dean Bowditch has joined League One Northampton on a month's loan.
The 21-year-old has not started for Ipswich this season, and not been named on the bench.
He has scored 12 goals in 53 senior starts, with another 52 appearances from the substitutes' bench.
Town manager Jim Magilton said: “Dean has been injured, but is now fit and needs games. We want him to come back full of confidence and scoring goals.”
Northampton boss Stuart Gray said: “Dean could have stayed at Ipswich but full credit to him he wants to get some first team football and we are delighted to give him that opportunity.”
Bowditch has been capped by England at under-19 level and has spent time on loan at Burnley, Wycombe and Brighton.
