IPSWICH Town will be represented in South Africa this summer after defender Tommy Smith was included in New Zealand’s 23-man World Cup squad.
The 20-year-old will fly out to Auckland on May 19 to meet the rest of his team-mates alongside fellow British-based players Rory Fallon, Simon Elliott, Chris Killen, Chris Wood and Ryan Nelsen.
Smith will be hoping to add to his one senior cap so far as New Zealand take on Slovakia, Italy and Paraguay in their group.
