IPSWICH Town’s Championship game at Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday afternoon is already the subject of some doubt with frosts forecast to continue in the Yorkshire area over the Christmas period.

Chairman John Ryan said: “I would say we have it all to do to get the game played - but it will not be for the want of trying.”

Rovers have already lost one home game this month and they will be desperate not to lose their second home Christmas fixture in successive years.

Last year the game with Leicester City was called off due to a frozen pitch.
