Ipswich Town won 2-1 at Crawley Town in their latest warm-up game, ahead of the new Championship campaign, on Wednesday evening.
Daryl Murphy netted for the Blues in the first half before David McGoldrick doubled Town’s lead from the spot in the second period.
Nicky Adams halved the defecit for the hosts against Town, who gave Spurs defender Bongani Khumalo a run out in their back four.
Khumalo is captain of South Africa but has yet to feature for Spurs and most recently has been playing on loan at Greek team PAOK.
