RIDING high after Saturday’s win against Birmingham, Ipswich Town travelled to Selhurst Park last night to face Crystal Palace.
The Blues were hammered 5-0 and, in the words of new manager Mick McCarthy, it was a sobering experience.
Big Mick has now seen first hand the enormity of the task confronting him as he looks to drag Ipswich off the foot of the table and out of the relegation zone.
