BILLY Clarke hit a hat-trick for Northampton beat Crewe 5-1 on his debut as the Cobblers.
The Ipswich Town striker joined Northampton on an initial one-month's loan on Friday and made an immediate impact.
Meanwhile, Hucknall Town are today waiting to find out if trialist Theo Smith is to be offered anything from Ipswich Town.
The attacking midfielder/striker is on a two-week trial with the Blues from east midlands Counties side Dunkirk but Hucknall boss Bryan Chambers is ready to sign the speedster after making a seven day approach but has to wait to see what the Blues want to do.
Chambers said: It is a case of wait and see. If Ipswich sign him that's it, but if they don't then we will talk to him.”
