And the ex-Real Madrid star was involved in a first minute mix-up with stopper Shane Supple that saw the visitors take the lead.
But Town, the reigning Football Combination Reserve League champions, recovered to claim a victory through goals from Reggie Lambe, Kurt Robinson and Jordan Rhodes.
