LEE Martin is a doubt for tomorrow night’s home match against Southampton after suffering a tight hamstring in the defeat by Hull City.
The winger is Paul Jewell’s biggest concern for the visit of the Saints who boast a 100 per cent record following the two opening matches in the Championship.
Jewell confirmed this morning that centre back Ivar Ingimarsson would again be absent as he recovers from his thigh injury and that the Icelandic defender is likely to miss the trip to Peterborough at the weekend.
But Damien Delaney, who didn’t train at all last week but played 90 minutes against Hull, is expected to be fit to face Southampton.
When quizzed about potential new faces before tomorrow night, Jewell admitted the clock was ticking and that the club might have to be patient with the Premier League transfer window closing in two weeks time.
