Ipswich Town are said to be leading the hunt for Belgian international Faris Haroun.
Sky Sports have reported that the 25-year-old central midfielder has attracted interest from across Europe, especially England, but Blues boss Paul Jewell is heading the chase.
Haroun, who has six Belgium caps to his name, is currently with Germinal Beerschot but it is believed the Belgian side are struggling financially and need to sell some of their top assets.
German clubs, Cologne and Bochum, are also said to be interested in Haroun.
