Ipswich Town will face newly-relegated Charlton Athletic in a pre-season friendly ahead of the 2016/17 season.

The Blues will travel to the Valley on Tuesday, July 26 (7.45pm) to face the Addicks, having won there on their last four Championship visits.

In November, a goal from Freddie Sears and a brace from Daryl Murphy saw the Blues win 3-0, while the two sides drew 0-0 at Portman Road in April.

Meanwhile, Irish side Shelbourne have announced that the Blues will once again visit Tolka Park on Saturday, July 9, with the Blues yet to officially confirm the clash.
