Ipswich Town are joint second favourites to get relegated from the Championship next season.

The Blues are coming off their worst season in 58 years and, with nothing major looking set to change in the summer either in terms of management team or investment, the bookies don’t fancy their chances next season.

Sky Bet have Town listed as 3-1 to be relegated, the same price as they give Bolton and newly-promoted Millwall. Only Burton and Barnsley, at 15-8, are considered more likely to go down next season.

In contrast, Mick McCarthy’s men are listed at 50-1 to win the league and 14-1 to clinch promotion.

Their bitter Anglian rivals Norwich, under new German boss Daniel Farke, are joint third favourites to win the league.

Norwich are 10-1 to go up as champions, the same price as relegated Middlesbrough, with only Fulham (9-1) and Aston Villa (8-1) above them.
