Ipswich Town’s Mick McCarthy and Daryl Murphy have been nominated for the monthly awards in the Championship.
Boss McCarthy, who will compete with Aitor Karanka (Middlesbrough), Chris Hughton (Brighton & Hove Albion) and Paul Clement (Derby County), has been shortlisted for November’s Manager of the Month award after three wins and a draw from four matches.
Meanwhile striker Murphy, who had not scored in the league this season prior to his hat-trick in the 5-2 win at Rotherham on November 7, now has six goals, having also scored in the 2-2 home draw with Wolves and hit two in the 3-0 win at Charlton.
Brighton’s Solly March, Derby’s Scott Carson and Leeds’ Alex Mowatt have also been nominated.
All winners will be announced tomorrow.
