Ipswich Town have taken up the option on young star midfielder Teddy Bishop, keeping him at Portman Road for another year.
The 21-year-old academy graduate, who has been at the club since he was nine years old, has 64 first-team appearances for Blues to his name.
He shot to prominence as Town surged into the play-offs in 2014/15 – attracting national attention – but has been hampered by injuries ever since.
After finally returning to the first team in November, he suffered a hamstring injury in the Boxing Day draw with QPR, which ended his season.
Town have also taken up a year option on goalkeeper Harry Wright, while fellow academy graduate Conor McKendry has also been told Blues will be keeping him for another season.
Chris Goteni, who joined the club on a six month deal in January, will not be offered a contract.
