We have assembled a group of Town fans to predict the outcome of Ipswich games and have their say on what’s going on at Portman Road.
Every week, our panel of Ipswich Town fans will make their predictions ahead of the Blues’ latest game, with three points awarded for a correct scoreline and one point given for a correct outcome.
We’ll keep a league table along the way, before crowning a winner at the end of the season.

Game Two of the Bryan Klug roadshow arrives at Portman Road, where the attendance looks likely to be boosted by a ticket promotion and no small amount of curious Town fans feeling their interest reawakening.
Saturdays last minute loss at Forest was by no means the disaster it might appear on paper, with a noticeable energy about Klugs side. It was also marked by what appeared to be a clear strategy to give opportunities to those whos long term future is at Town, particularly at the expense of loanees.
With a full week spent on the training ground, it will be of interest to see if any of Klugs methods have permeated through. Either way, the renewed optimism is welcome and may well result in a decent performance against a Villa side with one eye on the play-offs. Prediction: Ipswich Town 2-2 Aston Villa
Seán Salter
There should be a really positive atmosphere at Portman Road on Saturday. Villa will travel in large numbers and I expect the game to be played out in front of Ipswich’s second highest home crowd of the season.
Aston Villa arrive with an outside chance of making the top two and with the annoying Jack Grealish playing annoyingly well too. I’m also looking forward to seeing how far Conor Hourihane has progressed since being released by Paul Jewell.
Bryan Klug will set his Town side up to try and win the encounter which should make it an entertaining game with goals for both teams. Prediction: Ipswich Town 1 Aston Villa 2

A decent if far from perfect performance at Nottingham Forest and suddenly the optimism is starting to return.
Bryan Klug is not just here to develop youngsters but to develop the whole club, and has displayed that regardless of who fills the managerial vacancy at Portman Road, he must stay.
I’m cautiously optimistic about the match against Aston Villa. They’ve been inconsistent of late, while we are now an unknown quantity with Mick gone earlier than expected. We’re a dangerous team to play because of that, and I think we might just sneak a result. Prediction: Ipswich Town 1-1 Aston Villa

Tick-tock, tick-tock… not long until our game against Aston Villa which is probably one of the biggest games of the season!
The Villains are currently 4th in the Championship only 4 points behind the automatic promotion! It’s definitely not going to be an easy game so far as they will come from the tunnel looking to give their 110% to reach their dream of be back to the Premier League…
Very very huge challenge ahead for Klug and the lads… But we could restrain their attacking waves keeping a point in Suffolk… Or even the 3 Points! Who knows in this mad league? Thus my prediction is a 1-1 draw at Portman Road thanks to a goal from Waghorn! Come On Ipswich! Let’s do this! COYB! Prediction: Ipswich Town 1-1 Aston Villa

This could be an interesting game. Villa come here looking to cement their playoff place but this is the first game at Portman Road since the sudden departure of Mick McCarthy. The club say they are expecting a big crowd and I would assume that will generate a fantastic atmosphere for Bryan Klug and the boys.
A lift is exactly what we need in this final stretch of this torrid season, so hopefully this can be the start of something positive for the club going into next season. I don’t think we’ll have enough to win the game, but I can see a performance similar to that of Millwall on Easter Monday, with a few goals in the game and Town earning a respectable point. Prediction: Ipswich Town 2-2 Aston Villa

I’m looking forward to this game, lots of tickets have been sold and the never ending winter seems to have ended finally! Villa are trapped in play off land and Ipswich in mid table land so hopefully both teams can play with some fun and abandon.
From what I’ve seen of Villa this season they have some very good, we’ll paid, experienced players but don’t seem to function as well as a team as the likes of Wolves, Fulham, Cardiff and Millwall.
Look out for Grealish in a pretty free role in midfield for Villa, I’m sure they’d be happy to leave with a fully fit squad and a scoring draw as the prepare for a potential play off with Boro. Prediction: Ipswich Town 1-1 Aston Villa

It’s become harder and harder to predict results recently and I feel under our caretaker manager it’s going to be a case of ‘all bets are off’.
One thing is certain, with an increase in tickets sold for tomorrow and, more importantly, a drastic improvement in the mood amongst fans, it promises to be a much more positive experience for the home crowd. I’d like to think that will give the team some encouragement and if they perform how they did at Forest, most people will be happy.
Would also like to see Hyam perform well again, he was my man of the match last Saturday. 2-1 Ipswich, the start of a new era. Prediction: Ipswich Town 2-1 Aston Villa
