Ipswich Town fans have been reacting to news regarding the future of Mick McCarthy and the release of season ticket prices.
The club announced today that they are reducing the price of every season ticket by 10%, with renewal packs being sent out next week and supporters given the chance to buy from April 3.
Owner Marcus Evans then revealed a decision on McCarthy’s future - he’s out of contract in the summer - will be made well in advance of the early bird deadline of April 30.
At the time of writing, a poll on our website of more than a thousand supporters shows more than 70% of fans believe the cut in price is at an appropriate level. However, 52% quantify that by saying they will only be happy with that cut if there is a change of management.
The poll shows 13% of fans believe the prices should have been cut further and 11% say they will not renew their season tickets regardless of the cut.
Supporters have also been having their say on social media, with a selection of tweets below.
