Fans will get the chance to quiz manager Mick McCarthy during Thursday night’s Ipswich Town Supporters’ Club’s Annual General Meeting at Portman Road.

Following the success of last year’s event, the evening will once again be in the form of an ‘open evening’, with supporters having a chance to meet and question management representing many areas of the club’s activities, both off-field and on-field.

Joining McCarthy will be his assistant Terry Connor, managing director Ian Milne, club secretary Sally Webb and academy sponsorship manager Simon Milton.

Liz Edwards, Chair of the Supporters Club, commented: “I’m really pleased that Ipswich Town have recognised how successful this event was last year, and are supporting it again. It’s a great chance for fans to meet, talk with and question the people who are responsible for the running of the club.”

The event takes place in Legends Bar at Portman Road on Thursday. Doors open at 7pm for a prompt 7.30pm start.

The evening also includes the formal business of the Supporters’ Club AGM, so evidence of membership will need to be shown at the door, e.g. a season ticket or Silver/Ambassador/Junior Blues club cards.
