Ipswich Town have unveiled their new home and away kits for the coming season.

The club and adidas have renewed their partnership for a further four years, having worked together since 2014, with this season’s home shirt including a signficant amount of red.

The blue shirts have whitle sleeves with the distinctive three adidas stripes in red on both shoulders, as well as on the white shorts and at the top of the blue socks.

Ipswich have a rich history of orange kits, having worn the colour on the road during the play-off campaigns of 2000/01, 2004/05 and 2014/15, as well as having it as an option when the club won promotion to the top flight in 1991/92.

“Reverting to a retro-inspired round neck, Town’s new home shirt features white sleeves with blue and red contrast detailing,” a statement on the club website reads. “The red detailing continues across the adidas 3-stripe branding to the shirt shoulders, shorts side panels and sock turnovers.

“The away kit is one of the most striking kits yet from adidas. The solar orange shirt, shorts and socks, feature contrast black detailing. It’s sure to be easy to spot from a distance, being the brightest away kit Town have worn in recent times.”

All of next season’s kits include the colourful Magical Vegas logo, after the Blues entered into a three-and-a-half-year shirt sponsorship deal with the gambling website in January. It is thought to be worth close to £2million.

All replica kits will carry the new EFL names and numbers, in partnership with the mental health charity, Mind.
