Andre Dozzell is continuing his recovery from a serious knee injury with an intensive two-week rehabilitation stint at Cambridge University.
Following a stellar summer in which he helped England Under 19s to European Championship glory in Georgia, Dozzell was named in the starting line-up for the Blues’ opening-day clash with Birmingham but suffered a nasty ACL injury to his right knee 50 minutes into the contest.
It is likely to keep him out of the season, with the teenager undergoing surgery in London in August to reconstruct his knee.
But his rehabilitation programme is well underway, with Town’s first team physiotherapist, Alex Chapman, posting regular updates on social media.
MORE: Dozzell will come back stronger after ACL injuryThe latest comes at 13 weeks as Dozzell is undertaking an intense two-week stint in Cambridge, where the midfielder has been working on loading his knee as well as stability.
Chapman’s video shows Dozzell using a series of weight exercises to strengthen his knee, indluding squats, Romanian deadlifts, weighted lunges and the Jacobs Ladder climbing machine.

While Dozzell is likely to miss the rest of the season, his absence, as well as injuries to the likes of Emyr Huws, Teddy Bishop, Luke Hyam and Tom Adeyemi, has opened the door to two of his young Blues team-mates.
Flynn Downes and Tristan Nydam have now made 24 first team appearances between them, with both players breaking into the England Under 18 set-up.
