Ipswich Town fans will pay a maximum of £10 for a ticket to see their side’s FA Cup third round replay against Southampton, at Portman Road, on Wednesday, January 14 (7.45pm).
Mick McCarthy’s much-changed side battled their way to a 1-1 draw at St Mary’s yesterday, the Saints – fourth place in the Premier League – fielding a virtually full-strength XI.
For Ipswich, the replay comes after Saturday’s second versus third Championship clash with Derby County and before a trip to struggling Millwall. For Southampton, it falls in between lengthy away trips to Manchester United and Newcastle.
Town took 5,500 supporters down to the south coast, the game a sell-out thanks to Southampton’s £10 ticket pricing. Ipswich have followed suit, pricing adult tickets at £10, concessions at £5 and Under-16s at £3.
Tickets go on sale to the following categories from 9am:
January 6 – Platinum members (own seat + four additional); Gold members (own seat + four additional)
January 7 – Season ticket holders (own seat + four additional), Silver members (two tickets from unreserved seating)
January 9 – General sale
Season ticket holder seats will remain reserved for the season ticket holder to purchase until 9am on Friday, January 9, 2015. At this stage un-purchased season ticket holder seats will be released for available sale to any ticket purchaser.
