Ipswich Town’s new away kit has made the Football League’s top 20, following a vote among fans this summer.
The ‘Barcelona-style’ maroon and navy blue shirt, worn for the first time in Town’s loss at Blackburn earlier this month, is ranked 14th in the fans vote involving all 72 member clubs’ home and away strips.
The Portman Road club’s traditional blue home shirt, like the away shirt made by Adidas, narrowly missed out on the top 20 as it finished 21st in the voting.
The Blues have also worn an orange third shirt this season, in the 5-1 loss at Reading in September, but this kit was not included in the vote.
Leeds United took the top two slots, with their home shirt first and away kit second, with Sheffield Wednesday’s ‘aqua and black’ away number coming out third ahead of the Owls’ blue and white home kit.
Bristol Rovers’ home shirt was the top non-Championship finisher, in seventh, with Colchester United’s away shirt 130th, eight slots ahead of their own home kit.
