Ipswich Town will travel to League One side, Peterborough United, for a pre-season friendly with a ‘twist’ on Tuesday, July 18.

The fixture will be split into two games of 60 minutes, with the first one kicking-off at 7pm – 30 minutes each way with a five-minute break – and the second starting at 8.30pm and following the same format.

The Blues’ last visit to Posh came in a Championship game in March 2013, the game ending goalless. The scoreline was the same when Town went to the same venue for a friendly, two years ago.

Ipswich have already announced that they will visit Charlton for a warm-up game on Saturday, July 29.
