The Iron are back in the National League for next season and released their pre-season schedule today, which includes a game against the Blues on Saturday, July 14. The Essex club say Ipswich have confirmed they will be bringing their first team for the game.

Links between the two clubs have seen a number of youngsters head to Cressing Road on loan, most recently with youngsters Conor McKendry and Pat Webber spending time at the club during the closing months of last season.
