Ipswich Town have been linked with a six-figure move for Huddersfield winger Harry Bunn.

According to reports, the Blues are weighing up a bid of up to £600,000 for the 24-year-old, who started his career at Manchester City and has also played for Rochdale, Preston, Oldham, Crewe and Sheffield United.

The 5ft 9ins winger, who prefers to play on the left but can operate in central midfield or behind a striker, has netted 17 goals in 98 games for Premier League new boys Huddersfield.

The Blues are certainly in the market for a striker – currently they only have Joe Garner, Freddie Sears and David McGoldrick as senior players up front – but a move for a winger wouldn’t be out of the question.

As it stands, Bersant Celina, Danny Rowe and Grant Ward are the only recognised wingers in the squad.

What do you think? Would he be a good signing for the Blues or should Mick McCarthy look elsewhere?
