Ipswich Town’s under-21 team enjoyed a comprehensive 4-1 victory over Bristol City, at Playford Road, on Monday.
Jack Marriott scored twice to continue his recent rich vein of form, while substitute Cemal Ramadan also grabbed a brace late on.
Town handed a start to centre-back Zach Fagan, on trial from Arsenal, and he lined up alongside Matthew Clarke.
Third-choice goalkeeper Jason Brown also featured for a youthful team, while Cormac Burke played at right-back.
