Ipswich Town’s under-21s development team were twice denied victory in a lively 2-2 draw at home to Millwall, at Playford Road, on Tuesday afternoon.
Former Peterborough striker Paul Taylor struck two well-taken penalties for the hosts, the second in the 89th minute, but the Lions hit back thanks to Jermaine Easter’s brace – his second, a penalty, coming in injury-time.
Taylor, was joined by fellow senior professional, Scott Loach, in the starting XI.
