Jewell makes move to have Bullard onboard next season

IPSWICH Town manager Paul Jewell has confirmed that he will looking to keep midfielder Jimmy Bullard at Portman Road next season.

He is speaking to Bullard’s parent club Hull over the player’s availability of Jimmy Bullard for 2011/12.

Bullard still has two years left on his contract at the KC Stadium but has made it clear that a move to Town would appeal.

“We are speaking to Hull to see what the situation is,” the Town boss said.

“It’s a difficult deal financially obviously, but if we possibly can make it work, we are interested in trying to do so.”
