GRANT Leadbitter is today set to meet with Blues boss Paul Jewell to discuss a new contract.
The Town skipper is in the last year of his current deal and Jewell is keen to sit down with him and discuss his future.
The Ipswich manager said: “I’ll have a chat with Grant and see what we have both got to say. We want to be on top of the situation.”
Leadbitter was linked with a move to Portsmouth last month but their interest never materialised further prior to the summer transfer window closing last Wednesday.
