IPSWICH TOWN: Blues manager Roy Keane says that he has good options if he decides to make changes for tonight’s Championship game at Reading (kick-off 8-pm).

“We have a few knocks and I’ll see how the lads are when they report this morning before leaving for the game,” said Keane.

“I have good options if I decide to make changes - some very good options.

“We need to be a bit more clinical with Jason Scotland and Tamas Priskin having chances at Scunthorpe to have won us the game.

“And we are looking to start a lot brighter, but if we continue to have what many see as a problem and end the season in fourth placeI will be happy.

“There is no logical answer to why we have been slow to get going, and there is certainly no crisis.”

Jaime Peters at right back, Mark Kennedy at left with perhaps Darren O’Dea moving into the middle of the defence are options for Keane. Also to start with Luke Hyam as the 4-1-4-1 system seems to work best away from home.

If Tom Eastman keeps his place at right back, Peters could challenge Andros Townsend for a wide midfield place, while it would appear to be toss-up whether Scotland, Connor Wickham or Priskin get the call in attack.

Reading will be without on loan Blackburn defender defender Zurab Khizanishvili whow as sent off on Saturday and midfielder Brian Howard is still serving a ban after being shown a red card eralier this month.

Alex Pearce is set to return in Khizanaishvili’s place, but Jay Tabb’s ankle injury rules him out.
