FORMER Ipswich Town manager Roy Keane is being tipped to return to the Championship – after leading bookmakers made him favourite for the vacant Nottingham Forest post.
Keane, who was sacked by Ipswich in January following a disappointing 19 months in charge at Portman Road, recently said he was looking to return to football management.
And following the resignation of Steve McClaren, Keane has been widely tipped for a return to Forest where he made his name as a player before moving to Manchester United.
Ipswich are due to visit the City Ground on November 19 before Forest come to Portman Road on January 2, 2012.
