ROY Keane is ready to offer new deals to Alex Bruce, Shane Supple and Ed Upson.
The trio are all out of contract this summer but the Blues boss is looking to keep all three on.
After an initial meeting this week Keane is planning to hold further talks with the players and their representatives in order to agree new deals.
Bruce has already rejected an offer given to him by former manager Jim Magilton and chief executive Derek Bowden in January is response to supporters' demands that he be kept on.
But the offer was well below that being given to other senior players and Bruce is looking for parity.
It is understood Hull City, Blackburn and Leeds United are among the clubs alerted to his situation and interested in what happens next.
Supple is recovering from a knee injury sustained while on loan to Oldham Athletic and must decide if he is prepared to be a number two behind Richard Wright for another season or seek a first team starting spot elsewhere.
Upson has yet to make a first team appearance and after trial spells at Leyton Orient and Southend will be offered an initial one-year contract at Portman Road to see if he can fulfil the potential seen in him by Town coaching staff.
Keane has yet to hold talks with Matt Richard, Dan Harding and Liam Trotter.
Harding is still with Reading who are looking to win Premier League promotion via the play-offs and Trotter is still on loan with Scunthorpe United who are in the League One play-offs.
