SHEFKI Kuqi came through training today (Thursday) with no ill effects further boosting his chances of playing at Preston on Saturday.
Blues boss Jim Magilton was keen to see Kuqi in action after recovering from a hamstring injury but was cautiously optimistic after seeing the striker break down against Norwich.
But the Finland international reported no reaction after being put through his paces with the rest of the Blues squad at Playford Road.
Magilton will assess Kuqi again after training tomorrow but the striker will travel to Deepdale and have a final fitness test on Saturday morning.
