Josh Yorwerth and Matt Clarke both played 90 minutes as loan clubs Crawley and Portsmouth both failed to earn victories in League Two on Saturday.
Yorwerth started his second game since his move to Crawley but, unlike his debut at Newport on Tuesday, ended on the losing side as the Red Devils went down 2-1 at Plymouth.
Clarke, playing his 13th game for Pompey, was part of a side which kept a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw at home to Yeovil.
Cameron Stewart was once again an unused substitute for Doncaster as they beat Barnsley 2-1 at the Keepmoat, with former Blue Richard Chaplow scoring a 90th minute winner for Rovers.
