IPSWICH Town's Jamie Peters won his 21st full Canada cap as his side lost 1-0 in Poland in a friendly last night.
On-loan Town keeper Asmir Begovic was an unused substitute for Bosnia as they lost 1-0 at home to Portugal in their World Cup play-off, the Portuguese winning 2-0 on aggregate.
Fellow keeper Brian Murphy, who joins the club in January, was also left on the sidelines as the Republic of Ireland missed out on the World Cup finals, drawing 1-1 after extra time in Paris on the night but losing 2-1 over the two legs.
