IPSWICH Town boss Jim Magilton has been charged with using abusive and/or insulting words towards match referee Colin Webster in Town's 2-2 draw at Burnley on October 2.

IPSWICH Town boss Jim Magilton has been charged with using abusive and/or insulting words towards match referee Colin Webster in Town's 2-2 draw at Burnley on October 2.

Magilton was unhappy with the decision to deny Pablo Counago and Town a winning goal and after the game said: “It wasn't even close. Pablo was three or four yards behind the ball.”

The Irishman has until October 23 to respond to the charge.
