PAUL Jewell revealed this morning that Gareth McAuley has agreed terms with Ipswich Town, and should hopefully sign in the next few days.
Following hot on the heels of fellow defender Damien Delaney, who has signed a new contract, McAuley looks poised to stay at Portman Road beyond this season.
“We have agreed to Gareth McAuley’s terms and we are just waiting for him to say “yes” to it,” confirmed Jewell at this morning’s press conference.
“As far as I am aware, everything is done, and hopefully he will get signed.”
