MICHAEL Chopra finally has something to smile about after being named Asian Footballer of the Year.
The benched striker has struggled for form and game-time at Ipswich recently following a difficult season both on and off-the-pitch.
But that hasn’t stopped the Indian-born marksman from picking up the individual award at the inaugural Asian Football Awards held at Wembley Stadium.
Chopra has scored seven times this season but has not started for Town in the last five matches.
