DARYL Murphy is an early doubt for Saturday’s home match with Brighton after pulling out of the match against West Ham at the 11th hour.
The on-loan striker felt a “twinge” in his hamstring during the warm-up at Upton Park and his place on the bench was taken by Nathan Ellington.
Murphy said: “I could have made it a lot worse so while it was disappointing it was the best thing to do.”
Meanwhile, young Town striker Ronan Murray has been put on stand-by for the Republic of Ireland Under-21s for their European Championship qualifier against Liechtenstein on October 11.
