THE deal to sign Spanish defender Cesar Navas has collapsed.
A failure to agree personal terms by the player is being given as the reason after Malaga agreed a £200,000 bid from Ipswich.
Blues chief executive confirmed that talks had broken down.
He said: “Last Friday we seemed close to agreeing personal terms with the player but since that time he has decided to reject our final offer so that is the end of the matter.”
The Blues are now likely to move for Premiership defender to bring in on loan.
