Needham Market midfielder Keiran Morphew will have to wait for his chance to impress Ipswich Town boss Mick McCarthy after picking up a groin injury in the 0-0 draw at Lewes on Saturday.
Morphew was due to play in Town’s under-21s game at Brentford yesterday – the contest finishing 1-1, before spending the week with Town, something he will now hopefully do next week.
Morphew had previously impressed for Town’s under-21s in last Monday’s 1-0 victory over QPR at Playford Road.
