PAUL Jewell has no fresh injury worries ahead of the visit of Portsmouth to Portman Road tomorrow night (7.45pm ko).
Other than a few “bumps and bruises” following the 2-2 at Cardiff City, the Ipswich Town boss this morning confirmed he had no new doubts before Pompey – and former Blues captain David Norris – arrive in Suffolk.
Jewell had said on Saturday night that strikers Michael Chopra and Jason Scotland had looked tired following the hard-earned point, but both are expected to start tomorrow night.
The manager added: “We have one or two bumps and bruises from Saturday as you always do. With three games in a week, we have to make sure we temper our training.”
After Portsmouth, Ipswich face Crystal Palace on Saturday in front of what should be a bumper Portman Road crowd following the club’s discounted ticket scheme.
