RICHARD Naylor has been left out of the Blues squad that has set off for Coventry City this evening.

Ipswich Town manager Jim Magilton had initially indicated Naylor would be included for the trip to the Ricoh stadium as Town go in search of their first away win in 17 attempts but decided against it after training today.

Magilton said: “Richard is back in training and that is great for him but Satuday is just too early for him.

“I thought about bringing him along but he has not played any football for a long time and in an ideal world we would like to get a couple of games under his belt first before we look at a first team return.”

Matt Richards has been included after returning from a loan spell at Brighton last week.

Alex Bruce misses out with a strained abductor muscle so Chris Casement returns to the 18-man squad.

Sito Castro is still being rested after being concussed in the Burnley match, while Sylvain Legwinski has returned to training after an ankle injury but is left out.

Ipswich Town squad: Alexander, Supple, Casement, Wright, Harding, Richards, Wilnis, de Vos, Trotter, Haynes, Garvan, Miller, Williams, Walters, Clarke, Rhodes, Lee, Counago.

Coventry City squad: Marshall, Konstantopoulos, Osbourne, De Zeeuw, Turner, Ward, Page, Borrowdale, Tabb, Doyle, M Hughes, S Hughes, Gray, Thornton, Cairo, Andrews, Simmonds, Mifsud, Adebola.
