IPSWICH Town’s attempts to organise a pre-season friendly in Ireland next week have failed.
Roy Keane’s men, who will play PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands on Saturday evening, were hoping to fill a void in the summer fixture list with a game against League of Ireland opposition.
But no game could be finalised. However, the Championship club are still hoping to arrange another friendly, closer to home, for the coming week.
