DAVID Norris is a major doubt for Ipswich Town's game at Birmingham City tomorrow.
The Town midfielder suffered a dead leg in the Blues' 2-0 win over Derby County on Saturday and is still suffering.
Town boss Jim Magilton said: “David is struggling to be fit. He has a dead leg which is still sore and we know how painful they can be.
“We will give him every chance and another 24 hours might help but he is a doubt.”
Skipper Gareth McAuley is making good progress from his hamstring problem and is pushing for a return, while Moritz Volz is available after a one-match ban but Magilton admits he is reluctant to change after keeping a clean sheet against The Rams.
He said: “The back four and keeper all did very well and if you play well then you are going to keep your place in the side.”
That would mean Alex Bruce keeping his place in the Town side as he faces his old club Birmingham City.
