IPSWICH Town skipper David Norris is unlikely to be fit to return against visiting Scunthorpe United on Saturday.

Norris has just completed a two-match suspension, for accruing 10 bookings, which caused him to miss the goalless draw at Leeds last Saturday and the midweek home defeat at the hands of Watford.

“Chuck (Norris) only resumed training yesterday. To be fair even though he’s been suspended the (ankle) injury that he had was a nasty one and he’s been feeling it,” revealed Jewell at this morning’s Portman Road press conference.

It appears likely that Kieron Dyer, who started on the bench against Watford, will start against the Iron.

Fellow midfielder Colin Healy could also be involved, after missing the last five games with a strained stomach muscle.

“Colin might be back in the squad,” confirmed Jewell.
